With all of the action movies in his repertoire, Bruce Willis is probably the last male celebrity that one would associate with having his own fragrance. Alas, it’s true. The Hollywood superstar will be debuting his self-titled fragrance this Thursday under the umbrella of German brand LR Health & Beauty Systems, and will feature eau de parfum, hair and body wash, after shave balm, and deodorant spray. Willis expressed, “The development of my new fragrance together with the very committed and passionate LR team was really a lot of fun.  The products stand for individuality, uniqueness and sustainability. That’s what convinced me and what unites me with LR.”

The actual scent is a unique blending of notes of grapefruit, pepper and vetiver, which resulted in a very manly man’s fragrance. “I personally feel the new Bruce Willis fragrance is the manliest scent in the world,” exclaimed Tilo Plöger, chief operating officer of LR Health & Beauty Systems. Complimenting the already dominating scent, the packaging is equally as strong designed as a heavy square bottle with a metal label, and cedar block cap which came from sustainably harvested wood. In addition, the complimenting products in the collection are packaged in brown, brushed aluminum and the boxes have a similar metallic feel.

If they were going after the ‘Die Hard’ man, then they certainly have him pegged right. Now let’s see if smelling this manly is an everyday thing for the everyday man, or just something for the movies.
